Okay, so task number 2 using the pen tool in Illustrator. First off, I'd like to warn anyone who may ever want to draw a vehicle...it's definitely NOT easy...at all.However, I'm very pleased with my results.
I started with simple outlining. Only getting as little detail as I could without taking away from the car's own style. Meaning that if you can't tell that it's a Ford Mustang...we've got problems.
I'd have to say that coloring the darn thing was the most challenging part.
Shading and detailing it was difficult, I think because it's a muscle car and has a bunch of curves and sharp edges.
I wanted to give it a back ground but after 10 long hours I'm am satisfied with my floating car.
